So, I pretty much think this image says it all. But if it doesn't, watch this video. It is about five minutes long, but I think it says all you need to know about the Republicans. They spent tens of millions of dollars on investigating a little hanky-panky between consenting adults, then booed a woman who wanted to investigate one of their own who attempted to commit statutory rape. Real classy, and totally bipartisan of them.
So to recap: they have immaturely derided a colleague for trying to do her job and look out for the youth of America, then had their press machine work to deny that a favored son was even a member of their party! How ridiculous can these guys get? Of course, I feel like there is more to come...

As a moderate, I'll say up front that FOX News is nothing more but a joke, and that Bill O'Reily is the equivalent of a spoiled five-year-old; unless he's right, he'll throw a temper-tantrum, or just completely drain you out with incessant screaming. (Not to mention that Mr. High and Mighty paid some hush-hush money to a woman who claimed that he sexually harrassed her; innocent until proven guilty, yes, but an out-of-court settlement sure is condemning). Anyhow, anything that's on FOX should be taken with a grain of salt. I believe the most important thing that we can do for our country is to fix the partisan attitude of both the Republicans and Democrats; their constant bickering and attempts to completely one-up each other is one of the greatest hazards to the United States since the invasion of the Spice Girls in the 1990's.
Sure, I agree with both of your that it doesn't get worse than FOX news... I think everyone can agree on that.
But maybe you've never left this country, or you've never gone to college, OR you're just from a red state, you may still be able to get on-board with the obvious fact that the partisan agenda of both republicans & democrats hinders legitimate political progress.
And I'm happy to read that Denis wants to fix this -- I think this "fix" will have to included an overhaul-makeover of the election process, specifically getting rid of the primaries. Let me know if you want some help Denis.
But Denis and Chris - republican's are not the only ones hush-hushing sexual harassment and assault issues. About every minute someone in America is raped (the statistics vary because the majority of sexual assault are not reported...you know because of the hush-hush attitude toward these things)
...what a nice world our children will live in...
Oh also, I wanted to point out that there is no longer news, only marketing.
and I reiterate, what a nice world our children will live in.
